The Spike Strip and Cord Reel is kept in the Holster within the grasp of the officer. The officer simply releases the strap and then grabs the cord reel handle with one hand and the Spike-Strip with the other hand. The Holster allows the officer to remove the Spike Strip and move the Spike Strip to another vehicle.

EFFECTIVE DEPLOYMENT

Spike-Strip's compact size allows for one-handed deployment of the spike strip with the other hand on the cord reel. The Accordion design neatly spreads the strip on the roadway with wider coverage of traffic lanes. This minimizes' the need for adjustments after initial deployment.

Spike-Strip weighs 3lbs; it is lighter and is smaller than all other tire deflation systems.

SAFE DEPLOYMENT

DEPLOYMENT STYLE: Spike-Strip is a covert color and deploys and retrieves in a covert sliding fashion. The covert color and deployment reduces the adverse effects of cars circumventing the tire deflation device. Sliding Deployment style, helps prevents the dangerous type of deployment associated with devices, which deploy in mid air.

FACTORY ASSEMBLED: Spike-Strip and the cord-reel are factory pre-assembled and deploy and retrieve as an integral system. The Cord is heavy duty to assure it does not snap under normal conditions. The cord reel has a service port with a wide opening to allow inspection and service by officer. The system does not rely on the officer to disassemble and reassemble for service. The system does not offer deployment options without a means of retrieval. Spike-Strip eliminates all these safety risks associated with systems that deploy in sections and require officer assembly.
